There are cultural anchors from the family, spirituality and religion that lead to achievements in the midst of adversity. Latinx people persist for their families and those they left behind despite the sociopolitical context and structural barriers that they face. The Latinx orientation makes it possible for therapists to engage through respectful culture-centered approaches.
