The strength of connection made during the earliest moments of therapy will determine whether the client returns for a second appointment. In this workshop, you will learn how to recognize subtle clues that show how a client needs to be treated. Individualized therapy and reaching clients at their deepest area of need are how therapy is done. The instrument that participants will receive indicates the most and least helpful therapy experiences.

The educational objectives are listed.

1. Describe social domains that serve as decision points for building rapid emotional connection with clientele of various backgrounds and personalities.
2. Describe three ways to repair the relationship if there is a rupture.
3. To provide an instrument for collecting feedback after every session that surveys satisfaction while also describing what was most difficult or helpful for the client.
