David C. Brillhart is a Psy.D. A licensed psychologist specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. A wide range of individuals and couples, as well as those in forensic and correctional settings, have had his help in letting go of their struggle with anger. A chapter in his book was published recently. Individual Psychological Therapies in Forensic Settings The Eds. were written by Davies and Nagi.

Dr. Brillhart has experience with high-risk, special needs, and serious mental illness sexual offenders. His research was presented at several national and international conferences. He has lectured to audiences on the use of ACT with some of the most challenging populations.

Dr. Brillhart has been able to hone his therapeutic skills by working with people with chronic emotional and physical pain. Dr. Brillhart is an interactive and solution focused psychologist. Dr. Brillhart works with each client to build on their strengths and navigate personal growth amidst life’s roadblocks.

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology gave Dr. Brillhart his Masters and Doctorate degrees.
