SESSION 1:

Assessment, Treatments, and Interventions for Alzheimer’s Disease are included in The Aging Brain. Roy D.

Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias affect your geriatric patients and this dynamic session will help you understand and intervene. Dr. Roy D. Steinberg will show you a recipe of what works and what doesn’t with older adult patients and their care providers.

The cognitive implications of the aging process in general, its effects on individual patients, and the pathological changes and functional manifestations specific to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias will be addressed by Dr. Steinberg. Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, Frontotemporal Dementia and Lewy Body Dementia are some of the types of dementias seen in older adults.
