In this lecture, join Dr. Karen Snider, Dr. John Deleeuw, and Dr. Roy Danks as they describe and administer adjunctive osteopathic manipulative treatment for cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal condition diseases.

Objectives for learning.

  1. There are challenges of using OMM in the hospital.
  2. There are some clinical conditions that may benefit from OMM.
  3. Discuss the treatment goals of various types of techniques for cardiopulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions disease.

The Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians and designates this program for a maximum of 1.0 AOA Category 1-A credits.

There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant doesn’t receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Bureau of Osteopathic Education of the AOA.
