My drumming is different. The band I am in is blown away by the new patterns I am learning.

Mike is a great teacher. His teaching style is straight forward. He cares about sharing the knowledge, and he really loves the instrument, with 20 DVD’s in the package I’d be surprised if he didn’t love drums.

I improved in less than an hour after playing the Drumming System DVD #1. I would like this system to be available sooner.

I can only say that this system got me playing my drums as quickly as possible, because I am a beginner drummer. Michael is a good teacher. The system is great.

Mike made it easy. I am looking forward to demonstrating what I have learned after I get the fills down pat.

It’s nice to be able to see what Mike is doing. You can see the two things at the same time. The menus on the dvds make it easy to navigate the lesson you want.

I liked drum theory and notation. After taking years of piano and organ lessons, I didn’t really understand what 4/4 or 6/8 meant and how it relates to what you play. It was simple because Mike made it that way. A lot of people laugh when they hear you are learning something from dvd’s, but how could there be a better way to learn to play the drums? If you want, you can watch Mike demonstrate it multiple times.

You never feel like you are being talked down to by Mike. The teaching style makes it easy to learn.

I like the detail very much. The drum rudiments section is very well done. The blue line goes across the measure as the bar is being played. I have never seen an idea like that before. You never feel like you are being talked down to when Mike keeps it real.

Mikes is an excellent instructor and his explanations are easy to understand. The Drumming System clearly shows Mikes lessons and makes learning fun.

I have found the Drumming System to be helpful in developing my chops, independence and creativity on the set. Some great tips have been taught to me by Mike. The Drumming System motivates me to practice, learn new groves and develop my skills. Thanks for the system.
