What is Intentional Resting?
It is intentional to rest. That’s right. It is a simple way to rest in 30 seconds.
I would like to let you know that I am enjoying using Intentional Resting. When I woke up after a meal out, my tummy was upset. I used it to great effect.

What’s it based on?
Intentional Resting is based on the idea that many people have become so stressed out that they don’t even realize they are stressed. This results in bodies and minds on constant alert, that can eventually lead to all types of dis-ease from poor sleep through arthritis to depression.
After practicing Intentional Resting, I have woken feeling more alive after fewer hours of sleep.
Isn’t resting the same as relaxing?
Not really. Most people relax by breathing deeply, listening to music, or watching TV. Many fail to relax.
The French word for rest is to stop. When we rest, we disengage from the stress response, giving our body and mind space to heal in the way they know best.
Resting changes you from being a human doing to a human being.
What will resting do for me?
Resting can take you from a stressed state to peace. It brings you home. People rest as they settle into themselves.
It is possible to create space in your body and mind by resting. People feel better after resting.
Resting can help resolve or diminish a wide range of conditions, and is particularly effective for sleep issues.
I felt better after I woke up. . I used it to rest into my vulnerability, into my soul, into my mind, and into my health. I find it hard to deal with issues.
It feels like sneaking through the back door instead of facing the issue from the front where I have already been. The back-door way is calm and peaceful. .
All approaches I was familiar with were high-adrenaline ones, so I never found this approach. I feel like I’m resting. We are immediately into pure awareness. .
