In this class, John Friend teaches how to embody divine beauty, both on and off the yoga mat. This practice is a celebration of the divine beauty and the abundance of life, which is expressed through an uplifting asana sequence. The class invokes the Goddess who embodies the magnificence of all of us. This one and a half hour class was recorded live as part of a week-long retreat with John Friend at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck, New York. The founder of Anusara Yoga is John Friend. He has practiced a variety of yoga styles. He blends a teaching style that encourages students to live each moment from the heart with his detailed prescriptions for how to do the postures. In 1997 John founded Anusara Yoga to promote his unique vision and it is growing throughout the US, UK, Europe, Asia and Australia.
