Are you qualified to take the API 1169 exam?

The work experience acquired in the last 20 years is used to calculate the requirements. Education and other certifications may be required.

There are at least one or more of these categories that applicants can qualify in.

1. Inspection Experience (pipeline or general oil and gas)
2. Non-Inspection Pipeline Experience
3. General Oil & Gas Industry Experience
4. Other Heavy Industry Experience

If you don’t know which category you are in, give the information that is required.

1. The minimum amount of experience/education needed to qualify MUST be documented on your application.
2. If you are using education or certification to help you qualify, then official documentation (in the English language) will need to be uploaded into your application
