Think again if you think 16 minutes of intense cardio conditioning is easy. Chalene Johnson’s. There is fire. High Intensity Interval Training is a part of the high intensity fitness program. I received it. There was a volcano fire. I can’t say enough about the preview workout last week. The. There is fire. The class was very challenging. The intensity with which you are urged to do the workouts means you can work out for half the time as normal cardio and burn 9 times more calories and fat.

It is possible to burn calories for up to 24 hours after a high intensity interval training (HIIT) workout. If you are willing to give it your all, your workout can be done in less than an hour.

The workout DVD is not the same as others. Chalene is conducting. There is fire. You feel like you are in the class when you work out in a fitness class. The camera pans around the room so you can see people off to the side or in front of you. You have a great view. The fire is called TurboFire. Chalene Johnson is doing exercises. She is on a stage that is higher than the class. The best part about this class is that you can do it in the comfort of your home and not have to go to the gym to fight for the best spot.

Chalene starts the workout with a full body warm up. If you need a low impact TURBO FIRE workout, one of the cast members is a modifier that is easy to follow. Chalene incorporated fire drills into the workout. 3 drills were repeated 3 times. The class does the drill at normal speed and intensity after she shows them what each drill looks like.

Chalene leads you through a jump rope move until the sirens go off. There is a timer in the lower left of the screen. This is the fire drill. It is very exciting. You can do the drill in 34 seconds. It was very difficult. When the fire drill is over, you have 30 seconds to recover.

Chalene encourages everyone to push harder. After resting, you go through the same moves again, starting with jumping rope and then doing the drill at the sound of the sirens. The moves include jacks, air jumps with arms, squat jumps, ski moves, and side squats. The moves get harder after Chalene leads you through the second and third fire drills.

The class was intense even though it was only 16 minutes. I had a hard time getting through the program. I like the format of Turbo Fire because it makes me feel like I’m in a class instead of just following an instructor on a DVD. It is very cool.

It was a challenge following the moves, but after doing the DVD a few times, it got better.

When the fire drill starts, the music is great and it is very exciting.
