A personal message from Stuart Okorofsky.
My path to EasyLanguage Programming is a long one.
I received a degree in Computer Science from the State University of Buffalo. There was no Internet, punch cards were used to write computer programs, and PCs did not exist.
I worked as a programmer for McDonnell Douglas after graduation. I got involved in another profession after quitting the corporate world.
I received a piece of mail from Ken Roberts about trading futures. I took his course because I was fascinated by it. I fell in love with trading.
I saw a demo of TradeStation at a seminar and bought the software. It came back to me very quickly despite the fact that I hadn’t programmed in 20 years. I have always been good at programming.
I began writing programs for other people because there were only a few TradeStation programmers. I had a full time business. I stopped trading in order to program TradeStation full time after I accumulated so many clients.
I have written indicators and strategies for hundreds of clients over the past 20 years. From the very beginning of my career, I have had clients that I code for. Larry is one of them.
My clients range from private traders to large hedge fund managers. I’ve worked with high profile authors like Tom DeMark and Dave Aronson.
My goal in this course is twofold.
- To teach you how to correctly program, test, and automate your trading in TradeStation.
- It’s to also share with you my insight and 20 years experience in systems programming”.
