There are more than 300 entries on topics related to currency, banking, and the economy from ancient times to today. Laws, bills, acts, theories, speeches, and biographies of people who made an impact on the world economy are included in Allen. The author clearly explains the terminology in the nontechnical language. Each well- documented article ends with references and a bibliography. Black-and-white photographs and reproductions appear throughout the pages, which are formatted in two columns. A chronological list of the entries can be found in the table of contents.
