Author
Ron Ianieri. Ron worked on the Foreign Currency Options Floor at the Philadelphia Stock Exchange after the crash of 1987. After two years at the Equity Options Floor, he was trained in option theory by wellknown technical and analytical traders.
At a time when DELL was one of the busiest option books in the US, Ron was the option specialist at TFM Investment Group. Ron began to develop his option trader training course. He became a manager at Gateway Partners, a fast growing specialist unit, where he was an important part of their expansion.
The development of his option theory and trading course was finished by Ron. The firms proprietary trading and strategic risk management program featured several sophisticated pricing models and analytic tools.
Ron served on several Philadelphia Stock Exchange Committees during his years on the floor.
He left Gateway Partners after four years and joined a local proprietary trading desk. Ron has consulted with various mutual funds and hedge funds on investment selection protocols, risk management, and position and portfolio hedging techniques. He is the Chief Options Strategist for The Options University.
