Filippa A. Fisher. In 1931, he founded Fisher & Company, an investment counseling business, after starting his career as a securities analyst. He was one of the pioneers of modern investment theory. Fisher was one of only three to ever teach the graduate school of business investment management course after writing this book. Common Stocks and Uncommon Profits is one of his investment classics.
