It’s not the same as reading a brief description of a technique and seeing one of the living legends demonstrate it. It is a joy and an honor to have the chance to see him work his magick in live, as he has been performing and practicing hypnosis professionally longer than most of the big names and old-timers of the profession have been alive.

I don’t think I will be using the clock dial in the foreseeable future, but I believe it can be adapted to some interesting applications. Classic processes should be taken into account when using the Pendulum Induction and Hypnotic Spiral techniques. The Blindfold and Nonverbal techniques are enjoyable. I have seen McGill demonstrate the Ladder of Colors before and it works very well. It was a great success for me. It seems like a no-brainer to put that one in with the Om Mantra Technique.

It was nice to see the demonstration of Mesmerism or Animal Magnetism, as I have read about it in the past. I had the chance to demonstrate the process a long time ago as I teach about the concepts of Mesmerism in graduate courses. The process described in the DVD is very easy to duplicate.

I like material that shows a series of methods and techniques in a straightforward manner. I love pieces that are hard to find elsewhere. This is one of the pieces.

The video had some color issues when Ormond asked for the lights to be turned down, but it is clear and the sound is perfect. The content is well worth it and far outweighs any technical difficulties in the recording, even if it is less than Hollywood quality. The most important thing is the straightfoward presentation of the content.
