I have thirty years of experience teaching thinking to thousands of adults and children around the world. The thinking tools can be used in a systematic way. They are easy to use.
The thinking tools and techniques have proven to increase abilities in areas such as creativity, problem solving and critical thinking. Material and assessments designed to cement concepts into your mind will be encountered as you progress through the course. The first module contains 8 lessons.
Are you a thinker? The students self- image as a thinker is looked at. The stage for your journey is set.
Plus, Minus and Interesting. There is an analysis of Plus, Minus and Interesting points. This can be used to consider new ideas.
Aims, Goals and Objectives are part of AGO. Aims, Goals and Objectives are examined. An AGO can be used to clarify thinking.
All factors should be considered. The Consideration of All Factors involves a structured process. When considering situations, it is often used.
There are other people’s views. The OPV tries to get the thinker inside the heads of those involved in a thinking activity.
FIP is the first important priorities. The FIP tells you to focus on priorities in general or at a particular moment.
There are alternatives to the APC. There are possibilities and choices. The lesson involves looking for alternatives, possibilities or choices.
Consequence and Sequel is a sequel to C&S. This is a picture of your brain. Helping you remember the consequences of a decision, course of action or change over time periods.
Building on the tools learned in the previous module, the participant explores the different types of thinking situations that exist and how you should react to them. You can learn the thinking skills to develop better solutions by understanding the problems you face.
There is a plan and action. Thinking is involved in arriving at a decision as well as carrying it out. Getting something done involves planning.
There is a decision and evaluation. The option’s value is judged. Is this worth it? Making decisions and making choices.
Problem-solving and design are related. Design solutions to problems. A problem-solving task is also a design task.
There are four ways to cope and organize. Dealing with confusion and mess. Order is created out of chaos. It’s a common enough situation to organize different elements so that the whole works.
Conflict and negotiation. Two parties are trying to get what they want. You will learn how to turn arguments and conflict into win-win outcomes.
Communication and persuasion. There is a transfer of information. The transfer of thoughts. Communication is clear. It is possible to open up perception in persuasion.
Exploration and discussion. A map of the situation is being made. It’s important to get as much information as possible. The purpose of the discussion is to explore a situation.
There is opportunity and initiative. We are forced to think about something. We set out to think about something because we want to.
You will focus on thinking outside the box. When you need to solve a problem, you need to think outside the box. You should be able to see situations that need more creativity and come up with ideas that work. The module consists of 8 lessons.
The need for thinking outside the box. The quality of our thinking needs to be improved. Think to different areas.
The level of creativity is basic. Concepts and explorations are the cure for arrogance. There are mechanics of new routes.
Judgement and movement. There is a difference between perception and processing. The concept of idiom and patterning systems.
Escape. Take a different road if you want to escape from your train of thought.
There is a stepping stone. Look for the way forward step by step. Every creative journey begins with a step.
There is a random juxtaposition. When you need it, use this technique to unleash the power of your mind.
The treatment of ideas. Constraints, shaping, using and harvesting ideas.
Focus The creative thrust is defined by how to define it. Idea sensitive areas are created for the generation of creative thinking.
