NLP Master Practitioner Modules:
The first module. There are psychological levels of development.

Understanding where someone is in their life leads to how to work with them. Knowing which goals to set, which techniques to use and what results to expect is part of this.
The second module is Module 2. The map shows how the body works.

The model for the Physiology Map was developed by the iNLP Center. The map tracks emotions, which we consider to be one and the same. There are certain qualities or characteristics that each state has.
This model attempts to classify those characteristics. The concepts of Associaltive/Dissociative and External/Internal are implemented in the map. It becomes clear to us how to use this model to help people and ourselves when we understand the implications of the Physiology Map.
There are three modules in module 3. There are twelve states of attention.

- Ability to access VAK places where it is impossible to get stuck
There is a lot of emphasis on three of our sensory systems. Each system is referred to as a modality. By learning how our thoughts and experience are structured in our brain, we can go beyond analyzing what we are thinking. Understanding the structure and how to influence it gives us huge advantages.
We can make two other distinctions beyond seeing, hearing and feeling. The VAK model has a new level of sophistication due to the broad-narrow and internal-external sensory distinctions.
Our psychological functioning is more important to us than seeing, hearing and feeling alone.
The fourth module is called Module 4. The map is divided into four parts.
- More control of your mind and attention
- Ability to get unstuck quickly
- Get to a positive mental outcome efficiently, regardless of the starting point
Our minds are busy remembering past experiences and imagining the future. It is interesting how little time we spend in the present, with our attention focused on the outside world. We attend to inner life often. Our experience is influenced by how we direct our attention.
What if we knew how to get people to look at the most helpful place? Imagine a child coming to you and saying that her friends betrayed her. Asking a question or making a comment to that child will drive her further into her pain. There is a way to give her hope. Which one do you want to do?
Imagine your boss coming to you and complaining about your work progress. When you have a chance to respond, you can either convince him of his position or open his mind to a more positive outlook. Which one do you want to do?
The questions we ask and the comments we make invite others to direct their minds in ways that will be helpful, productive and positive. When we communicate with others, we have an advantage because of our understanding of the Quad Map.
There is a fifth module. Criteria for psychological safety.
- Feel safer every day
- Enhanced confidence and motivation
- Clearer decision making and prioritizing
Emotional safety is very important. We can’t accomplish much if we don’t find a way to feel safe each and every day. Most of our life is about getting to a place where we feel safe.
We put ourselves in threatening situations in the name of personal growth. People are pushed far out of their comfort zone by personal growth advocates. You can expand beyond your limits, destroy obstacles and succeed beyond your expectations. This set up is destined to fail.
Suddenly expanding beyond perceived limitations brings with it fear of the unknown that can cause the primitive brain to spin out of control. You would experience an incredible rush of panic if it were possible to destroy your psychological defense mechanism and wildly expand your boundaries.
The need for emotional safety should be honored by a quest for inner peace. Your personal development plan needs to be the same as your personal safety plan. You are picking a fight with your primitive brain if not. You will lose this fight.
