We don’t experience reality, we experience our perception of reality.

Our perception of reality is formed by our beliefs. Understanding how your world is organized can give you clarity about what you can and can’t do.

I will show you how the eight worldviews are related to the development of the brain.

Over the past seven years, I have built my Cognitive Maturity model, based on the work of the world’s leading developmental scholars and practitioners, as well as my own proprietary research and work with clients internationally, assisting them in upgrading their minds and elevating their performance.

We will organize an understanding of the eight worldviews I use when I work with my clients.

The Eight Worldviews. We will look at the concept of worldview, and how each viewpoint sees and experiences reality, and most importantly where in your brain each viewpoint is organized.

How do you define your reality? I will help you understand the defining characteristics of the worldview you prefer the most, and what that means in terms of how it shapes your reality, and how it limits and serves you.

The basis of your worldview is shifting the reference point. I will show you how to shift your thinking so that you can experience reality in a way that serves you best.

Improving the quality of your thinking is the most important update you can make to improve your performance.

Over the next 14 months, I will show you how to make steady improvement in the way you operate, how you think, and in the level of your thinking processes.

Most people stopped learning how to think about things better and deeper between the ages of 14 or so and when they finished their university studies in their early 20s.

You may have continued learning new things, gathering additional information, even building and refining your expertise, but that is not the same as improving the quality of how you think or learning to think better.

You can hold opposing ideas in mind and reconcile seeming paradoxes if you develop cognitive maturity.

If you use this kind of high-level thinking, you won’t be stuck because you can’t yet see the opportunity within the complexity that’s present, or lacking an ability to access the creative breakthrough you need.

You will make sense of the world with more clarity and precision, make better and higher quality decisions, and take action with greater certainty.

You will be able to communicate with them more effectively when you are operating from fully developed levels of Cognitive Maturity because you will immediately recognize the levels of thinking that others operate from and through.

Within the model I built, there are orders of development that I will expose you to so that you will be getting smarter at thinking in virtually every session we’ll be spending together.

• 1st Order Cognitive Maturity: Linear Tactical Cognition

  You should know that you are thinking about achieving a specific outcome and the specific action you plan on taking to create it.

• 2nd Order Cognitive Maturity: Consequential Strategic Cognition

  Think about the consequences you are about to take and factor them into your decision-making process.

• 3rd Order Cognitive Maturity: Cybernetic Systemic Cognition

  The action you take will have an effect on you as well as anyone else in the system.

As you can see, complexity within this structure increases as you consider the orders of thinking within the Cognitive Maturity model, and developing the ability to hold and manage this complexity is the key to unlocking previously unimagined ways of thinking about yourself, others and the world around you.

If you run a business, lead a team, sell to others, or simply want to perform better in your career, relationships, and life overall, then developing cognitive maturity is a bet that is likely to pay off big time.
