CFA Institute – 2014 Level II Curriculum

The global standard for investment industry knowledge and ethical behavior is set by the CFA Program. The curriculum is determined by the institute, the exam is administered, and the charter is awarded. The CFA charter is considered to be the gold standard among financial industry professionals.

The program requires three exams to be taken in succession. The exams are only offered once a year in June, with the exception of Level I candidates who have the option of sitting for the exam in December.

A minimum of 250 hours of preparation is recommended, although some candidates will need more or less time. You can take as much time as you need to complete the program, and there is no limit to the number of times you can take each exam.

The nature and complexity of the global investment profession is reflected in the curriculum of the CFA.
