The first phase is marketing with social media.

It seems crazy to be able to create an online store and sell it the next day. Hey! The Huffington Post article did the same thing. After setting up my social media accounts, I decided to break 12k. I decided to focus on one particular social media channel to achieve this.

My plan was to use email and direct message to get people to join me. Become part of my sales team by joining me. There are several options for integrating an affiliate program with your store. You can make your own terms and structure. It seemed like the right choice at the time, since they have a 30 day free trial. Yes, still. zero invested I am still using them.

All I had to do was get people to sign up for my program. It’s not hard right? It was time consuming and faced a lot of rejection. I didn’t do any upfront paid shoutouts because I wanted these people to prove their worth and earn more than they would have with one paid shoutout. Is my loss their gain? I did not incur any risk because I did this.

I was on my phone and computer for 10 hour workdays if not more due to all the back and forth communication.

I pushed through to my first 4k in sales in one day, after conquering the 12k mark, halfway through the month. Electric Daisy Carnival is arguably the largest music festival in the western hemisphere and I was there for 5 days. I was dancing at that time. During my downtime in the hotel, I still had to process orders on Oberlo.

After returning, I was able to reach my goal of 60k sales. You have to rinse and repeat baby.

I was happy that my experiment went amazingly well, but there had to be a way to automate some of it. I went to upwork.com to find a VA. I was able to get everything I needed from the VA, includingshopify, oberlo, and customer support. She was handling all the tasks that I didn’t want to do like a boss so I could focus on IG marketing.

The method would suck to scale higher. I didn’t want to put myself back into a 9-5, so I was doing this experiment to free myself. I was able to watch a webinar that gave enough gold without buying into a course that was several thousand dollars and covered Facebook ads. I decided to apply the knowledge I learned from the webinars to my business. When I first set up my store, I installed the Facebook Pixel. This whole time, Facebook was collecting information on my visitors and customers. . At the time, my theory was that I should be able to scale because I could simply apply what I learned on the webinars to my store.

The second phase is Facebook.

July was going to be a great month because of how much I learned. I could focus on learning the ins and outs of Facebook ads with my VA by my side. I set a lofty goal without hesitation. I want to double my sales from last month. It’s not like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it’s like it I surprised myself last month and figured if I kept the same mindset, I could achieve 120k. There was a story about a guy who achieved 1 million sales in 8 months.

It’s time to put my theory to the test.

It worked, and it was a long story.

I did it much more freely than the previous month. I achieved something. There is freedom. It was from the 9-5. People dream of a lifestyle. I got very few responsibilities. No house, no tie downs, just a girlfriend and a small dog.

I traveled around the US for fun and enjoyed two weeks in New York City and Colorado. I achieved my first 10k in sales that day. I hit it while watching the ocean waves in the harbor of NYC with my best friend. The Pokemon Go craze was at it’s peak during this time so everyone was out walking.

I reached my 120k mark halfway through the month and decided to set a new goal. I shot for 200k because it seemed reasonable.

I expanded my Facebook ads so that I could target more countries. In the month of July, there were over 200k in sales. This means that I sell all over the world. Why don’t you limit yourself to your own country?

Phase 3 is divided into two parts.

I thought it would be a good idea to have two experiments that went wildly successful. It is possible to diversify. I know some things that worked in the past for previous businesses. I then added traffic from pinsy to the mix. I was able to automate this process for me. Over 200k links. by October. Those that do not know what those are are linked back to your website.

I realized I was missing out on a large amount of income that I was leaving on the table. Email marketing.

I decided to use Mailchimp for my first email campaign. I didn’t know what I was doing, but that went well. I focused on the images in the emails. It is easier to sell to customers that are interested or already customers. Your email box is full of examples.

One day, I decided to use multiple Facebook fan pages to get into my main general store. Due to a tool I have used in the past for a previous business, it was easy to schedule content in advance. This engages your audience, builds your pages, and ultimately turns them into customers. Give everyone fun content and you will get sales.

How far could I scale this business? Was it a matter of spending more money on advertising? With data available, it was easy for me to take calculated risks. I was turned into a real data whore by this business.

I am smarter.

A lot of personal development took place during this time to reach anilluminati level status of Facebook advertising. I did a lot of research to find out what works for me and what doesn’t.

I hit my first million in sales in October. I beat the guy in 3 months. Take that! What was next? Enough is never enough when you are a goal setting person. I simply enjoyed the challenge and didn’t need more money. I wanted to see if I could do it faster.

History has a tendency to repeat itself, as they say. I intended for it to be quicker. The Oberlo guy was doubled by 8 months. My victory was to have unlimited tortillas.

What did I need to do to run an online store?

I didn’t need to.

• A large load of capital or startup money
• My own products
• Supplier “connections”
• Coding experience
• Previous Internet marketing experience

I Needed

• The absolute drive to run my own company and be profitable
• A minimum of 2-3 hours a week AFTER I built momentum and outsourced (you’ll probably end up WANTING to actually spend more time)
• Internet access (you probably have this if you’re reading this)
• Computer & Smartphone with the previously mentioned requirement ?

Few entrepreneurs, and the ones that are around are more wannapreneurs, just the desire to not work for anyone and the fear of going back to a 9-5 is what made me unique. My why ran deeper than that.
