Alan Bloom is a doctor. He is a professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He consults with psychiatrists and attorneys in drug abuse cases and earned a joint PhD in psychology and pharmacology. The impact of drugs of abuse on the brain has been studied through the use of fMRI. His studies have been funded by the National Institute of Health and other national organizations. Dr. Bloom is a member of the Controlled Substance Board of the State of Wisconsin and served on the NIDA center grant review panel. He is a strong and experienced speaker.
