Joseph Wolpe is a doctor. One of the most influential figures in behavior therapy was a South African psychiatrist. He attended Parktown Boys’ High School in South Africa. Joseph received his M.D. from the University of South Africa in 1948. He was a professor at Temple University Medical School. He was a professor at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He has written three books and co-edited two others, and has more than 200 professional publications. He founded. The journal deals with behavior therapy and experimental Psychiatry. . The American Psychological Association gave him the distinguished scientific award for the applications of psychology.
