The major themes, dimensions, and conceptualizations of resilience will be explored. We will discuss how to mobilize resilience within the framework of time-limited soul care and how to take advantage of the dynamic interaction among traditions, norms, values, and heritages. We will argue that resilience is more than just an individual strategy, it is also a group resource and a collective faculty. It is clear that resilience is a function of culture, shared identity and wisdom.
