This is a description.
The Atone-Attune-Attach model of couples therapy for healing from a revealed extra-relationship affair is described. There are four objectives in each of the three phases. The roles of conflict avoidance and self-disclosure avoidance are discussed. The Gottman Re-covery Kit is used to deal with at-tachment injuries. There is a basic theory for this therapy. The theory of attunement and trust, as well as the roles of cherishing and grati-tude versus trashing and betrayal are discussed.
The educational objectives are listed.

- Participants will be able to describe the role of CL-ALT in the cascade toward betrayal.
