Description
The gay male culture emphasizes easy sexual hookups, without questioning if this is healthy for a couple. The workshop will give guidelines for managing open boundaries within a couple, as well as define how male couples choose exclusiveness. Norms will be compared to stereotypical heterosexual couples, including what actually constitutes deception or affairs, and how to transform deception to a deeper intimacy.
The educational objectives are listed.
Gay male couples should be promoted for greater communication and intimacy.
Gay male couples have out of control sexual behavior.
Suggestions for successful implementation of opening up a relationship can be found in the guidelines.
