Maria Gomori is an international workshop leader with a unique way of creatively integrating her own life wisdom with that of Satir and other great teachers. She has conducted workshops throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia, demonstrating and applying her interpretation of the Satir model. She developed a group of teachers in Taiwan and China. Maria dedicated the last 30 years of her life to sharing her learnings. The co- founder of the Hong Kong Satir Institute was the founder of The Manitoba Satir Institute. Faculty at The Aurora Family Therapy Institute at The University of Winnipeg and The Haven Institute in B.C. Canada. She is an approved supervisor with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. She received many awards for her work in Canada and the USA. She established a family therapy teaching program at a hospital when she was an assistant professor. Her books include workshops based on the work of Satir, as well as her own learnings, and her unique perspective and style.
