Description
This is a description.
Therapy usually talks about why people have problems and why they make poor choices. People unintentionally make choices that negatively impact their emotional well-being and quality of life. The key discriminations that can give rise to better decision making are global cognitive style and a past orientation. We will look at how hypnotism can encourage the development of effective discrimination strategies that can lead clients to choose.
The educational objectives are listed.
- Assess cognitive style’s effect on symptomatic experience.
- Describe the role of global cognitions in client problems.
- Explain how a therapist’s cognitive style may hinder treatment results.
Session may be edited to preserve confidentiality.
