Otto Kernberg is a doctor. He is a professor at Cornell Medical College. He is known for his theories on borderline personality organization. Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Personality Disorders Institute at the New York Presbyterian Hospital, Westchester Division. Dr. Kernberg was a Past- President of the International Psychoanalytic Association. He is an analyst at the Columbia University Center for Psychoanalytic Training and Research. The author of twelve books and co-author of twelve others is Dr. Kernberg. The Handbook of Dynamic Psychotherapy for Higher Level Personality Pathology is one of his most recent books.
