Alan Scheflin is a professor at Santa Clara University. The Law and Mental Disability Section of the Association of American Law Schools has a chair. Recipient of 12 awards from professional associations, including the American Psychiatric Association, the American Psychological Association, the Society for Clinical and Experimental Hypnotherapy, the American Society of Clinical Hypnotherapy, the International Society for the Study of Dissociation, and the American Family Foundation. He has six books and 70 articles.
