Throughout life, self-efficacy is an important topic. Babies like to control their environment by moving a mobile by a wire on their foot. Self-efficacy is important during school years. The opposite can lead to depression and hopelessness. It is not always possible to influence our environment directly, such as learning harder in order to get better math marks. A girl who is blind due to an illness can gain some control over her situation if she learns to read. It’s important to determine if a situation can be influenced or if it’s necessary to learn how to deal with it. Hypnotherapy can be used to take an adequate influence on one’s own life.
The educational objectives are listed.
