Dr. Barbara Ann Moss has a full scope osteopathic family practice in Augusta, Maine. She completed medical school at the University of Health Sciences, School of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and trained as a Chief Resident at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency. She has a Masters in Public Health from Boston University and uses it to direct the Community Medicine curriculum at the Maine-Dartmouth Residency.
She was the Director of Osteopathic Medical Education and the Director of the Osteopathic Family Practice program at the Maine-Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency for 10 years. She is a candidate for FAAO under the sponsorship of a doctor. The 120 hour yoga teacher training certificate was awarded to Dr. Moss in 1995. She completed a 40 hour yoga as medicine program. She traveled to the Indian Himalayas to take part in a two week Sadhana Intensive program. Dr. Moss practices yoga at home and attends yoga retreats to refresh and rebalance. The OMMmm Osteopathy and Yoga program is directed by her.

In 2006 she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1980 with a B.S. in Athletic Training/Sports medicine. Her internship was at a hospital. In 2010 she completed her Internal Medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. She completed her internship and residency at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine and the University of Arizona. She is a board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine. The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine has a chair in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine. She is a hospitalist at Maine General Medical Center. She was an assistant clinical professor at UNE COM and the head hospitalist at Waldo County General Hospital. She was an athletic trainer in sports medicine working with various teams and levels of athletes from Olympics to high school, most recently going to Hungary with the USA Boxing for a World Competition.
