There are accreditation statements. The American Osteopathic Association gives accreditation to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report specialty credits for the extent of the physician’s participation.

This live activity is designated for a maximum of 1 by the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. The category is called the AMA PRA. ä . Physicians should only claim the credit when they are involved in the activity.

The joint providership of the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons and the Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine has planned and implemented this activity in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education. MAOPS provides continuing medical education for physicians.

There is a planning disclosure. The Kansas City University College of Osteopathic Medicine Planning Committee does not have financial relationships with any organization that produces, markets, resells, or distributes health care goods or services.

There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA.
