Carolyn Zook Lewis, RN, MSN, CPNP-AC
UNC Chapel Hill
Carolyn Zook works in child neurology at the University of North Carolina Children’s Hospital. Carolyn has been a nurse for over twenty years and has worked as a nurse for fifteen years. In an outpatient clinical setting, she cares for children with new onset seizures, scurvy, headaches/migraines, and developmental delay. Carolyn’s years of experience in primary care have given her insight into the care of special needs children.
Carolyn is a lecturer at the University of North Carolina and Duke University. TheNAPNAP Preceptor of the Year Award was given in 2009. . She is an active member of both the Association of Child Neurology Nurses and the National Association of Child Neurology Nurses.
