Daniel J. Moran is a BCBA-D. He was the former president of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. The first case conceptualization manual for Acceptance and Commitment Therapy was co-authored by him. The act is used in practice. He was a member of the firstACT training committee. He recently published a book. Actions that are committed in practice. The topic of that book will be brought up at the workshop.
Dr. Moran is an invited keynote speaker for many events in the last decade because of his engaging training style. He talks about the treatment of many clinical disorders on the Oprah Winfrey Network. Several articles and book chapters have been published by him.
Dr. Moran helps therapists treat patients in their clinics. He is passionate about applying the principles in important areas outside of the clinic. In order to improve safety, innovation and leadership, he established Pickslyde consulting. On six continents and in all 50 of the United States, Dr. Moran has utilized ACT in work implementations and clinical training sites.
