Deborah Lipsky is an accomplished speaker who travels the United States and Canada giving seminars, presentations, workshops, and keynote addresses. She was the recipient of the Temple Grandin award in 2006 for being an inspiration to others because of her success in her life.
Mrs. Lipsky was an international bestseller. Managing problems. A book based on her S.C.A.R.E.D. model is an intervention guide full of strategies to help first responders. In her second book. From fear to stress. The focus is on understanding anxiety and how it affects thoughts and behaviors in individuals on the spectrum. It is the first book to offer many strategies to deal with both tantrums and meltdowns. A chapter on learning social skills from animals was written by Mrs. Lipsky and is featured on the cover of the book. Her third book on the nature of demons and spiritual warfare was released in the fall of 2012 Mrs. Lipsky has a fourth book. How to help people with disabilities. It is an honest, first-hand account of how people with autism deal with the loss of someone in their life.
Mrs. Lipsky and Temple Grandin were featured in a documentary called, Making Our Way which was produced for Maine Public Broadcasting Television. In 2015, a documentary about her life was released and is available on DVD.
