Douglas Fogel is a Psy.D. I have been in full-time clinical practice for over ten years. He worked for 10 years at JHU as a counseling center clinician, supervisor of interns, and professor. Dr. Fogel is a teacher and supervisor for students in the clinical psychology program at Loyola University.
Dr. Fogel is working on his first book. Psychotherapy works and how to do it. . The goal of the book is to establish greater emotional integration with the goal of increasing behavioral flexibility and willingness. Clients can take their lives in a more values-oriented direction if they successfully do this. Dr. Fogel has presented a number of training seminars on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to centers in the Baltimore/D.C area and his upcoming book is strongly informed by an ACT perspective.
