This skill-building recording will teach you how to handle ethical challenges involving children, adolescents, and their families. As you evaluate decisions through the lens of applicable ethical codes as well as federal and state laws, Dr.Casey will guide you through case studies.

1. Identify the five primary perspectives of the Multiple Perspectives Model of ethical decision making in clinical practice
2. Discuss special issues associated with working with minor clients
3. List the four steps of the Multiple Perspectives Model, and describe how to implements the steps in clinical practice
4. Compare and contrast the ethics laws that pertain to all minor clients vs. the ethics laws that apply specifically to older adolescents
5. Describe how to interpret and navigate professional codes of ethics and state licensing rules
6. Determine the ethical course of action for various scenarios involving minor clients, using the Multiple Perspectives Model
