Tara Stiles drew on her background in classical ballet and yoga to create Strala. Tara studied yoga with her ballet teacher at American Ballet Theater and trained with Paul Taylor Dance Company.

Mike Taylor is a co-founder of Strala. At Harvard and Oxford, Mike studied mind-body medicine. He has practiced Eastern movement and healing for 30 years.

The courses use yoga, tai chi, and traditional Chinese and Japanese medicine to help people release stress, heal themselves, and move powerfully through their lives. Harvard professor and Director of the Genetics and Aging Research Unit at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Rudolph Tanzi, is a supporter of our program.
