Learning objectives There is a brief history of medical cannabis. The Endocannabinoid is a cannabinoid. There is a Cannabinoid pharmacology. There is synergy between chronic pain and opiate use. Dosing basics. Drug interactions and adverse effects.
There are accreditation statements. The American Osteopathic Association gives accreditation to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1.5 AOA Category 1-A credits, which will be reported with the extent of the physician’s participation.

Dr. Sulak is a leader in the field of cannabinoid medicine. Recurrent conditions in adults and children are the focus of his clinical practice. He is on the board of directors of the Society of Cannabis Clinicians and has lectured to healthcare providers on the science and clinical applications of cannabis.

The Circle Program is funded by the state of Colorado and is for people with mental illness and substance abuse who have failed other levels of treatment. She joined the Circle Program in 1999 after working in the field of addiction psychiatry for more than 20 years. She was instrumental in helping the Circle Program to become tobacco-free in January 2000 and has been a strong advocate of the need to address all addictions at the same time. The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center has a Department of Psychiatry. Since 2000, she has been using the Circle Program to help patients recover from addiction as well as trauma which can lead to chronic pain issues. She wants to educate as many people as possible about the drawbacks of high potency marijuana.
