    Gregory A. Hinrichsen is a physician. The board certified in geropsychology is the American Board of Professional Psychology. He has provided clinical services to older adults and their families for almost 40 years. Dr. Hinrichsen is a master trainer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

    The American Psychological Association’s Committee on Aging was chaired by Dr. Hinrichsen, who was also the president of the APA Society of Clinical Geropsychology. He received an award from the APA for his contributions to clinical geropsychology.

    The books were co-authored by Dr. Hinrichsen. The older adult is a treatmentplanner.
