Description

The attendee will be exposed to the differential diagnosis of osteoporosis during the one-hour lecture. They will learn how to use DEXA and FRAX data to diagnose and treat osteoporosis. The NOF recommendations for stepwise treatment of osteoporosis/metabolic bone disease will be learned by the attendee. The attendee will learn about the treatments for osteoporosis and osteodystrophy.

Ken graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as Chief Resident at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Ohio in 1987-88. He completed his fellowship in 1990 at Baystate Medical Center. He is a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. He practices General Endocrinology and Metabolism at Northside Internal Medicine.
