Description
Learning Objectives Patients will be provided with the most up-to-date vaccines. Emphasize the importance of vaccinations. Apply alternative schedules where parents request them. There are technological resources that can help with vaccine scheduling.
There are accreditation statements. The American Osteopathic Association gives accreditation to the Missouri Association of Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons. MAOPS designates this program for a maximum of 1.25 AOA Category 1-A credits, which will be reported with the extent of the physician’s participation.
There is a planning disclosure. The MAOPS Education Planning Committee does not have financial relationships with any organization that produces, markets, resells, or distributes health care goods or services.
There is a Grievance Policy. The nature of the grievances should be specified in writing. All grievances should be directed to the Executive Director, who will forward them to the Education & Convention Committee. Within 30 days of receipt, all grievances will be responded to. If the participant does not receive a satisfactory response, they can submit a complaint in writing to the Council on Continuing Medical Education of the AOA.

There is a doctor in Memphis, Missouri. He is a family medicine physician at Scotland County Hospital. He is also a staff physician for Scotland County Care Center and Residential Care Facility and Memphis Medical Services, a hospital-based rural health clinic. He has been delivering babies throughout his career. Dr. Davis is passionate about serving the profession. He has served on every committee in the organization and is a past president of MAOPS. He is a member of the Legislative and Regulatory Committee, the Finance & Audit Committee, the Leadership Development Committee, and the Education Co-Chair. He is an AOA delegate for Missouri and is active in the Northeast District. Dr. Davis attended the ATSU-Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Quincy, Illinois. Family Medicine is where Dr. Davis is board certified.

Sharon Humiston is a doctor in the Emergency Medical Services Group in Kansas City, Missouri. She is a professor at the University of Missouri- Kansas City School of Medicine. After completing her medical degree at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Dr. Humiston obtained a master’s degree in public health from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in New York. She is a board certified doctor.
There is a relationship with the Academic Pediatric Association through a CDC grant as well as a financial interest in the Pfizer Foundation.
