Description
The outcomes can become insufficient when treated with medication and behavior management. There are many non-medication treatment options that your client could benefit from. Side effects of medication and long-term use of stimulants have become more of a concern for your clients. There are strategies and treatment options that can get to the root of the problem rather than controlling it.
You can learn how to use brain-based research to find characteristic patterns associated with ADHD. This knowledge will allow you to learn how to direct creative interventions that can have a positive impact on ADHD as well as a range of co-morbid issues in your clients. You might be able to achieve better outcomes with your clients if you learn practical interventions that are informed by the brain-based research. You can use the interventions outlined in this recording to more effectively treat your children and adolescents.
