In May of 2016 he was commissioned into the Army National Guard Medical Corp as a Major. He served as a battalion surgeon for two infantry battalions, the 2-152 in Columbus, IN and the 293rd in Fort Wayne, IN. He is the Medical Officer in Charge at the Charlie Company, which is based in Anderson, IN. He completed his Basic Officer Leadership Course at Joint Base Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX, his Joint Readiness Training at the JRTC Center at Fort Polk, LA, and last summer he completed a month-long joint training exercise called Garuda Shield in Indonesia with the Indonesia Army and Indonesian Army He was the State Medical Director for Activate healthcare and recruited several clinicians. Dr. Lisanti practiced in the Dayton, OH area for 13 years. He was a member of the Federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team for the Department of Homeland Security and HHS. He was part of the response to Hurricane Francis. The doctor is from Pittsburgh, PA. He received a B.S. in biology from Allegheny College. He received his D.O. degree from the A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency in family practice at the Ohio University consortium of hospitals in 1998. He has been married to his wife for 24 years and they have two daughters.
