He is a founding member of both the New England Direct Primary Care Alliance and the Direct Primary Care Alliance, organizations devoted to the advocacy of direct primary care and supporting physicians either operating a direct care practice or transitioning to this model. He is the President of the Maine Chapter of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians. He likes obstacle course racing and rock-n-roll.

Laura Blaisdell is a board certified doctor who works in the Greater Portland Area of Maine. In 1997 she graduated magna cum laude from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and in 2005 she received her medical and public health degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Blaisdell is also a newborn hospitalist at Maine Medical Center. She lectures on vaccine hesitancy and infectious epidemics at camp. Dr. Blaisdell lives in Maine with her two sons and husband, Andy, the camp’s owner and director, during the summer months. She was the doctor-in-residence at the Hpital Albert Schweitzer in Deschapelles, Haiti. Dr. Blaisdell is a member of the Board of Trustees for the hospital. The Vaccine Hesitancy Expert is Dr. Blaisdell, who wrote Op-Eds and volunteered in the effort to pass Maine’s law to remove religious exemptions to vaccine requirements for school entry. She is a member of Maine Families for Vaccines.

Dr. Mock is a self-employed Family Physician consultant. She holds certifications in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She obtained a masters degree in public health from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is an instructor for the Maine state Academic Detailing program. She holds certifications in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine. She works as a hospitalist and prescribes buprenorphine at a high-risk, low-barrier clinic. She is a big fan of women’s and girls’ basketball, chess, singing and travel.
