Mike Begg, PA-C Related seminars and products: 1
Mike Begg has experience with sports-related injuries. He worked as an athletic trainer and physician assistant before becoming a certified physician assistant. He gained practical experience working with injured athletes as a result of his bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in athletic training/sports medicine. Mike and a physical therapist worked together in an outpatient physical therapy clinic to treat multiple non-operative and post-operative patients.
Mike’s understanding of athletic injuries and how to get these athletes back into action was formed by his experience working with multiple athletic teams as well as working in the clinical rehabilitation setting. He wanted to know more about the rest of the story after these experiences. Mike is currently working with physicians in a sports medicine practice in Colorado. Experience gained on the playing field, in the operating room and in the clinical setting working side by side with various orthopedic surgeons helped solidify his understanding of what it means to treat the injured athlete.
