Nicole H. Bixler is a doctor.
The president of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians is Dr. Bixler. She has been on the Board of Governors for three years. Dr. Bixler completed her internship and family medicine residency at Frankfort Hospitals in Philadelphia after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She practices at Immediate Medcare & Family Doctor in Spring Hill, FL, where she focuses on the geriatric population with outpatient and inpatient services using a unique capitated at-risk Alternate Payment Model. The state surgeon general appointed Dr. Bixler to serve on the Florida Prostate Cancer Advisory Council. She is a Core Teaching Faculty for the HCA Oak Hill Family Medicine Residency. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the College of Osteopathic Medicine at NOVA Southeastern University. The proposed Family Medicine Residency at Oak Hill Hospital will be headed by her. Dr. Bixler is proud to be a full-time working physician and a mother of three girls while serving in leadership roles at the state and national level and hopes to be an inspiration to other young women in the profession.
