Richard Sears, PsyD, PhD, MBA, ABPP
Director
Center for Clinical Mindfulness and Meditation
Richard Sears is a PsyD. He is a licensed psychologist in Cincinnati, Ohio, board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), runs a private psychology and consultation practice, and is the Director of the Center for ClinicalMindfulness and meditation. He is a professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences at the UC College of Medicine, as well as a clinical assistant professor at the Wright State University School of Professional Psychology.
His recent books include: There is cognitive behavioral therapy. (PESI, 2017). Enriching your life in this moment is one of the benefits of living through challenges. The book is Wiley-Blackwell. There are perspectives on religion and spirituality. There is a PR Press. It is necessary to build competence in cognitive therapy. (Routledge, 2015). Cognitive therapy for post-traumatic stress disorder. The book is called (Wiley-Blackwell, 2016). Dr. Sears is the lead author. Clinical practice hasMindfulness in it. The PR Press was published in 2011. Mental health professionals have consultation skills. The book was published in 2005.
Dr. Sears once served as a personal protection agent for the Dalai Lama with his teacher. He received ordination in three traditions and was given transmission as a Zen master after studying the Eastern Wisdom traditions for 30 years.
