In 1985 Dr. Hostoffer received his D.O. from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic medicine. He completed his residency at Doctors hospital. He completed his training at the University of Alabama. He was the Clinical Associate Director of Immunology at Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Hostoffer is a clinical assistant professor at Case Western Reserve and board certified in Allergy and Immunology. He is a fellow of both the American Academy of Immunology and the Clinical Immunology Society. He is the president of the Cleveland Academy of Osteopathic Medicine. The Cleveland Allergy Society has a vice president named Dr. Hostoffer.
The regional consultant for the PrimaryImmunodeficiency Foundation is Dr. Hostoffer.
Patients with recurrent infections, as well as primary immunodeficiency’s, are some of Dr. Hostoffer’s special interests. His other interests include asthma, allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food allergies, and hive in both adults and children.
A number of Dr. Hostoffer’s scientific articles have been published in scientific journals.
