Dr. Lucas is an OB/GYN at Maine General Medical Center in Augusta, Maine. He received his B.S. in Biology from the University of Dayton. He received a degree in health sciences from the National University of Health Sciences. He received his Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2008. He completed his OB/GYN Residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ in 2013, after completing a rotating internship at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He is an assistant professor at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Lucas focuses on Pelvic pain syndromes. He uses a multi-pronged approach to diagnose and treat pain. The patient-specific approach includes a combination of hormonal, analgesic, neurologic, minimally invasive surgical and/or Osteopathic manual therapies. He is a member of the American Academy of gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Pelvic Pain Society, American Osteopathic Association, America Congress of OB/GYN, and Maine Osteopathic Association.

He has a wife, 2 dogs, 3 children, and 4 drum sets. He speaks both Spanish and Portuguese, but his English is getting better.
